Morocco trip

We visit Morocco very often. This time, in October 2008, it was short visit - two weeks only.

During this trip we visited first Bou Azzer area - we were lucky to buy there really nice cobaltocalcites. After this famous, still productive locality, we were moving across Anti-Atlas, visiting fossils and mineral localities. We were able to visit mines in Taouz area (famous vanadinites on psilomelane etc), trilobite reach areas - around Alnif and Erfoud.

Later we moved to Midelt and Mibladen areas, where we visited famous vanadinite, cerusite localities. Than we made a short visit to Kerrouchene - famous locality for agates, but also for azurites and malachites occorring in limestones.

At the end our trip we visited Sidi Rahal - big outcrop of basaltic rocks, with typical pilar jointing, and numerous agates, geodes with amethist etc.

We will be back to Morocco soon!
